Papritech has launched a new MIDI controller called AirMotion, which allows for hands-free expressive control over a range of instrument parameters by combining breath and motion control into a single device.
AirMotion features a breath controller mounted on a flexible metal tube, worn around the neck with the mouthpiece in front of the player’s mouth.
It can send up to five simultaneous MIDI CC messages generated from a player’s breath and movement to an instrument or DAW.
The device connects to an Android mobile application where users can assign chosen CC numbers to each input and transmit the resulting data wirelessly via a BLE connection.
AirMotion can be powered via a standard USB power adapter or power bank.
AirMotion is available to order now, priced at $122.
